How to Choose a Course Which Is for You?

Our Online Iconography Drawing and Painting Courses are designed for individuals with different levels of experience. To indicate the necessary level we have labeled them as Foundational, Beginner, and Intermediate. The Foundational courses can be taken in any order, while the Beginner and Intermediate courses will require to attend certain course or courses to sign up for.

FOUNDATIONAL COURSES

Designed for individuals with little to no iconography or drawing experience and for professionals willing to learn certain topics from scratch. These courses provide most essential skills and knowledge and may be taken in any order.

BEGINNER COURSE

Our single Beginner course is called Drawing Asymmetrical Faces, it's designed for those who have taken our very basic Drawing the Frontal Face course.

INTERMEDIATE COURSES

Advanced Egg Tempera course can only be taken by those, who has done both Egg Tempera Basic and Drawing the Frontal Face courses as we heavily relay on knowledge and skills we teach there.

Half Figure Composition is only available to those, who has done both Half Figure Garments and Half Figure Hand Gestures. For those, who wants to have a more professional experience at this course, we highly recommend taking the Drawing the Frontal Face course prior to this one.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. English is not my first language, can I still enrol to your courses?

English is not our first language either! We make sure to speak slowly and clearly in all videos. Additionally, all video tutorials have automatic English subtitles, which you can translate into most languages by clicking the “gear” icon on the video screen.
If you’re unsure about the course, email us or use the contact link (top-right of this page) . We’ll send a sample course video so you can try it before enrolling and make an informed decision.

2. Do you teach via ZOOM?

No, we do not teach live via Zoom. Our courses consist of:
  • Pre-recorded, professionally filmed HD video tutorials
  • Assignments and homework instructions
  • Videos that can be watched at any time during the course and remain available afterward
  • We provide links to all recorded videos, so students can work at their own pace

3. How do I get personal feedback?

Students upload their drawings and/or paintings to the Google Classroom Stream, where we can view them alongside other students’ work. We carefully review each student’s work in context with previous submissions and provide recommendations directly on the uploaded images.

Our feedback:
  • Highlights areas of the assignment to focus on more carefully
  • Points out details that need extra attention
  • Guides your progress step by step
